Newborns are best photographed between 7 to 14 days old. At this time, they are still sleepy and curl up for typical newborn poses. Your baby’s tiny little features will quickly start to fade within the first few weeks. From their tiny toes, to their tiny faces and expressions. Our newborn sessions are personalized and custom to fit the style and colors of your home or nursery. It’s best to schedule in advance your newborn session. This way we have time to prepare for your custom session.
Each session is styled to fit our clients needs, and each session will come with a Newborn Prep Guide that we offer. When parents arrive to our studio, they will have a television at their leisure, along with refreshments. Mini newborn sessions are ideal for parents who only want a few images of their little one, and not want to spend a whole lot of time in the studio. Lifestyle sessions take place in the comfort of your home. Generally parents schedule these after three weeks of age, if you don’t want the typical newborn poses. We arrive at your home choosing the rooms with the best lighting to capture the bonding connection and love to your precious newborn baby.

Newborn Safety 
Newborn Photography has become popular over the years, but it’s so much more than putting your precious little one in bowls or baskets. When you’re looking for a newborn photographer, it’s important that you trust them with your new little one. Make sure they know how to safely pose and have experience in newborn safety. Here at Tiny Bear Photography, we are trained in Newborn Safety, and care. We always have a second set of hands on your little one (our assistant). We will not put baby in a pose or prop that we feel is unsafe. Because each baby is different, there are certain poses you see that your baby may not be able to do. Don’t worry, we will still get beautiful timeless photographs, but in safe posing for your little one.
